Victoria Summerley, Guest Ranter
Victoria Summerley is a British journalist and author. As a news journalist she has worked on five of the UK’s national newspapers, and she is a former winner of the British Garden Media Guild’s prestigious Journalist of the Year award. In 2012, she quit her job as deputy editor of the i newspaper to move to the Cotswolds and spend more time gardening. She has since written three books about gardens: Secret Gardens of the Cotswolds, Great Gardens of London and The Secret Gardeners, all published by Frances Lincoln. This month, she will be speaking at the Cheltenham Literary Festival and the Stratford on Avon Literary Festival.
