Attracting July Visitors with Photos

Tom Stovall, the resident photographer at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens in Northern Virginia, is donating his images to my campaign promoting DC-area public gardens.  His photos of nature, especially of wildlife, are beyond anything I can or ever will achieve, but garden photography is new to him so he’s taking suggestions about what photos might succeed at enticing people to visit.

Here’s his lovely video of July, and your suggestions are welcome.  Additional garden photos follow.

(Or here’s the link to Youtube.)

Below are just a few more July scenes that grab me, as a gardener.

  1. Beautiful place. July on our homestead is always a jumbled mess of awesome weeds and fresh fruit from the food forest.

Where the video should be, there is only a black square. I’m on a Mac, using Safari, latest versions of each. Any idea why this happened? You could always give me a URL and I’ll be happy.

Are you kidding?? What a fabulous photographer! You have captured magic Tom Stovall and I look forward to seeing much more of your work.

It would be lovely to have a video of the garden for each month of the year.
