Damn varmints. What did Brookside Gardens do, have someone sit out there all winter with a shotgun? The surviving tulips from an annual fall planting over many years at a clients are so much more lonely than that display.

Looks great. With good weather tulips should show up here in 3 or 4 weeks, and I’m looking forward to it. (Assuming the deer and chipmunks haven’t eaten them or won’t eat them before they bloom).
I don’t plant tulips at client properties due to varmints. It’s a shame.

To be honest – the tulips look too jammed in to me!
I went to see the tulip fields in the Skagit Valley today. Came back with a list of must have tulips. If you ever want to see tens of thousands of tulips, visit the growers in April.
Tulips..yes thats my favorite flowers. indeed last weekend. My wife & I started to plant tulips in pobs and bring them indoor, add some color and charm to my living room. Lovely.
