Bouganvilla on Bourbon Street

I’m in New Orleans with no wi-fi, so my contribution today is limited to what I can do on my phone. So here are some photos of the flora of the Quarter. Enjoy…

You’re in New Orleans? So why don’t you visit my garden? It is tiny, the bougainvillea is attacking, again. I’m sure you’ll get to City Park and go by the casino (old name for a social gathering place), pick up a folder showing where all the old oaks are, and check out the New Orleans Botanical Garden. Welcome to the city! We especially love visitors like you.

Love that shot in the French Quarter. Not bad for a phone.

  5. Even being in NOLA can’t make bougainvillea not be a completely wretched plant. Hate it. Really and truly.
