The Wicked Ms. Stewart in the NY Times
Catch an inside look at the life and poisonous garden of our Amy in today's New York Times.
The slide show reveals the bargain-priced Victorian she and Scott found, her attic library, and my fave, Amy playing with her chickens.
And the caption to the lead photo here actually begins, "WICKED Amy Stewart." Sure, she has her moments but what Ranter doesn't?

What a great article! I can’t wait to read the book.
Very enjoyable. I thought the photos were fab too. Wicked, in fact.
Tomorrow is my birthday and i am getting her new book! (Wicked Plants)
Yeah!
Awesome.
Enjoyed the article in the NYT.
Love the article ! Just ordered my “Wicked Plants” on Amazon.
I just finished the book and will have vowed to become a carnivore solely.
Great article! I loved the desk and books in the garden, what a fantastic idea, Amy.
This is such a cool article. Reminds me of … Did you ever read that short story Rapaccini’s Daughter by Nathaniel Hawthorne. It was a HS school assignment for me, and it’s basically about a man who creates some potion from plants that makes his daughter deadly toxic (too bad for the dude who falls in love with her).
Here’s the entire story: http://www.shsu.edu/~eng_wpf/authors/Hawthorne/Rappaccini.htm
