Oooh, Eliz, those are really pretty tulips. An orange version of what I hope my ‘Princess Irene’ look like. They’re up out of the ground, but will be some time before they bloom.
I’ll see you those forced blooms, and raise you the Libretto parrot tulips I have blooming (but not forced, bought, cheater that I am…)

As a matter of fact, Jodi, I was just thinking that I hardly ever have to buy flowers. I don’t know that all this forcing saves me any $$ though.
Sun was up well after 7pm tonight. Warm weather and spring flowers can’t hide too much longer.
