Amy Goldman, author of The Compleat Sqaush and Melons for the Passionate Grower, creates cast bronze sculptures of garden forms using a lost wax process. The results are amazing. Life size, warts-and-all gourds. Even tomatoes, with a leaf attached, if you can imagine it. (Check out Radiator Charlie here.)
These sculptures are not cheap–they’ll run you a few thousand bucks, but lordy, they are beautiful, and imagine how good they’d feel to hold in your hands.
