Newfangled Organic Farming to be Taught at University

In a radical move, Washington State University has decided to offer a major in organic agriculture.  Organic farming, which human beings have practiced continuously for over ten thousand years, with a brief hiatus during the second half of the twentieth century, will now be taught at a major university.

UC Davis, usually considered a leader in progressive agricultural methods, has been slow to follow suit.  One student was quoted as saying, "It takes a lot to shift a worldview."

Yes, well, we wouldn’t want you university types to have to think too hard.
